Due to restrictions being lifted, our event is going Hybrid - Live in Cape Town from 22 to 24 February 2022 ! The AA-CA Virtual Plenary is envisaged to catalyse public awareness on the importance and evolution of IP, emphasising on the role of governance in a fast-changing era. Focus will be on identifying key challenges, highlighting emerging IP aspects in efforts to instigate for common commitment, shared vision and a common IP policy agenda. While laws, regulatory policies, enforcement methods, and even cultural attitudes toward IP vary considerably by country and by region in Africa, the first day Plenary of the AA-CA Virtual Conference is anchored by a high level debate and three topical discussion tracks that are structured to highlight the State of Africaa€™s IP Landscape.
